Acceptable Use Policy
Rules governing permitted and prohibited use of the Platform.
1. Preface
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out binding rules for the use of the Platform. It applies to each Customer, Organization, Instructor, Learner, and other End User, and to any use of the Platform through an Organization’s account. Effective Date: February 21, 2026. Last Updated: February 21, 2026.
2. Definitions and Relationship to Other Documents
Capitalized terms used in this Acceptable Use Policy have the meanings set out in the Terms of Service, including Company, Platform, Customer, Organization, Instructor, Learner, End User, Content, Personal Data, Controller, Processor, and Subprocessor. This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service and violations may result in enforcement actions as described in the Terms of Service and related Policies.
3. General Standard of Use
You must use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects the rights and safety of others, maintains the integrity and security of the Platform, and complies with the Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. The Platform is intended to support learning and training activities and associated administration by Organizations. Use of the Platform for purposes beyond those described in the documentation requires written approval from the Company.
4. Prohibited Conduct
4.1 Unlawful, Fraudulent, or Harmful Activity
You must not use the Platform to engage in unlawful activity, to facilitate fraud, or to promote or carry out activities that are harmful to individuals or the public. This includes using the Platform in a manner that violates consumer protection, privacy, intellectual property, or other applicable laws.
4.2 Abuse, Harassment, and Discrimination
You must not harass, threaten, defame, intimidate, or abuse others, and you must not use the Platform to promote hatred, violence, or discrimination. The Company may evaluate reports using the standards set out in this Acceptable Use Policy and the Community Guidelines.
4.3 Infringement of Rights
You must not use the Platform to infringe, misappropriate, or otherwise violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of any person. You must have all rights and permissions necessary to upload, share, or otherwise make Content available through the Platform.
4.4 Security Violations and Interference
You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, systems, or networks, and you must not probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without the Company’s prior written authorization. You must not interfere with the operation of the Platform, including by introducing malware, conducting denial-of-service activity, or bypassing access controls.
4.5 Automated Access, Scraping, and Misuse of Interfaces
You must not use automated means to access the Platform or to extract data or Content, except where the Company expressly authorizes such access through documented interfaces or written agreement. This restriction includes scraping, crawling, or harvesting data, as well as using the Platform to train machine learning models on Customer Content or Personal Data without appropriate authorization and legal basis. Permitted API use, if any, will be described in the Platform's developer documentation and may be subject to additional terms, including rate limits and usage restrictions.
4.6 Misrepresentation and Impersonation
You must not misrepresent your identity, role, affiliation, or authority, and you must not impersonate any person or entity. You must not use the Platform to collect authentication credentials or other sensitive information through deceptive means.
4.7 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
You must not use the Platform to send spam or unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law or industry standards. Where the Platform enables messaging or notifications, the Customer is responsible for configuring and using such features in a manner consistent with applicable law and the Organization’s obligations to End Users.
5. Content Standards and Restricted Content
The Customer and End Users must ensure that Content made available through the Platform is appropriate for the relevant audience and complies with applicable law. Content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or otherwise inconsistent with the purposes of the Platform may be restricted or removed. The Company does not undertake to review all Content and does not guarantee that Content will be accurate, complete, or suitable.
6. Reporting and Cooperation
The Company may provide mechanisms for reporting suspected violations, including security issues and abusive Content. Reporting channels and procedures are set out in the Security Policy, the DMCA Copyright Policy, and the Contact and Notices page. Reports may be submitted via email to heretohelp@openmirai.com. You agree to cooperate with reasonable investigations and to provide information necessary to address security incidents, legal obligations, or compliance matters, subject to applicable law.
7. Enforcement, Suspension, and Appeals
The Company may take enforcement actions, including warnings, content restrictions, access limitation, suspension, or termination, where the Company reasonably determines that a violation has occurred or that action is necessary to protect the Platform, other users, or third parties. The Company may consider the severity, frequency, and impact of the conduct. Appeals may be submitted by emailing heretohelp@openmirai.com within 14 days of the enforcement action and will be reviewed within 30 days. Appeals may be limited where action is required by law or to prevent harm.
8. Updates to this Acceptable Use Policy
The Company may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. The Company will publish the updated version within the legal documentation portal and may provide additional notice of material changes by reasonable means. Unless otherwise stated, changes take effect on the effective date specified in the updated Acceptable Use Policy.
