Manage Resources In The Admin Platform

Learn how to use the Admin Platform resource library to search files, filter resources by type or access level, sort the table, open resource details, and delete one or many resources.

This guide explains how to use the Resources page in the Admin Platform.

Use it when you want to:

  • search the resource library
  • filter resources by file type
  • filter resources by access level
  • sort resources by name or modified date
  • open a resource detail page
  • create a new resource
  • edit or delete a resource
  • delete several resources at once

Open The Resource Library

To open the main resource list:

  1. Go to Management > Resources.

This page gives admins a table view of uploaded resources across the platform.

Understand The Resource List Page

At the top of the page, OpenMirai shows:

  • the Resources title
  • the number of matching results
  • a Selected mode toggle
  • a search box
  • a Create button
  • a filter panel

Below that, OpenMirai shows a resource table.

Use this page when you want to review or manage many resources from one place.

Search Resources

Use the search box to find a resource by name.

This is useful when:

  • the library contains many files
  • you already know the file name
  • you want to open one resource quickly

Filter By Resource Type

Use the type filter when you want to narrow the list to a specific kind of file.

The current resource type options include:

  • PDF
  • Document
  • Slide
  • Image
  • Video
  • File

You can use the type filter from the filter panel and from the type column header.

Filter By Access Level

Use the access filter when you want to narrow the list by who can use the resource.

The current access options are:

  • Public
  • Selected
  • Private

You can use the access filter from the filter panel and from the access column header.

Understand Access Labels

Each resource row shows an access badge.

In general:

  • Public resources are available broadly
  • Selected resources are limited to selected instructors
  • Private resources are not available to instructors

Use the access badge to confirm the sharing level before opening or editing a resource.

Sort The Resource Table

Use the column headers to sort the table.

The current sortable columns are:

  • Resource’s Name
  • Modified

Use sorting when you want to:

  • find the newest updated resources
  • group similar file names together
  • scan the table in a more useful order

Understand Resource Rows

Each row can show details such as:

  • resource name
  • file type badge
  • last modified date and time
  • access badge
  • an action menu

Selecting a row opens that resource’s detail page.

Open A Resource

Select a resource row to open the resource detail page.

Use the detail page when you need more information about the file, want to preview it, or need to review related courses or access settings.

Create A New Resource

Use the Create button when you want to add a new resource to the library.

OpenMirai opens the resource creation page, where you can upload the file and define its details.

Use The Row Action Menu

Each resource row includes an action menu.

Available actions are:

  • Edit
  • Delete

Use these actions when you want to manage one resource at a time without turning on selected mode.

Edit A Resource

Use Edit when you want to update a resource’s details.

This opens the resource edit page, where you can change the file information or other settings for that resource.

Delete A Resource

Use Delete only when the resource should be permanently removed.

OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before deletion.

The dialog makes it clear that deletion is permanent.

Turn On Selected Mode

Use the Selected toggle when you want to work with several resources at once.

In selected mode, you can:

  • select resources with checkboxes
  • open the bulk action menu
  • delete multiple resources in one action

This is useful when you need to clean up the library more quickly.

Use Bulk Delete

When one or more resources are selected, OpenMirai shows a bulk delete action.

The action label shows how many items are selected.

OpenMirai asks for confirmation before deleting the selected resources.

Use bulk delete carefully, because the action permanently removes the selected files.

If No Resources Are Found

If the page shows no results, one of these is usually true:

  • no resources have been uploaded yet
  • your search does not match any file names
  • your type or access filters are too narrow

Try clearing or changing your search and filters to broaden the results.
