Customize Branding Pages Seo And Domain Settings
Learn how to use the Admin Platform customization page to update brand settings, choose fonts, manage custom pages, improve SEO, connect a custom domain, and adjust advanced platform settings.
This guide explains how to use the Platform customization page in the Admin Platform.
Use it when you want to:
- update your platform brand settings
- choose different fonts for English and Thai
- manage custom website pages
- improve search engine information
- connect a custom domain
- adjust advanced access and media settings
Open The Platform Customization Page
To open the page:
- Go to System > Platform Customization.
This page is the main place for branding, public-page control, domain setup, and advanced platform behavior.
When the page first opens, OpenMirai can briefly show loading placeholders while customization data and page details are being loaded.
Understand The Page Layout
The page includes a section list on the left and a long settings form on the right.
Main sections include:
- Brand
- Fonts
- Page
- SEO
- Domain
- Advanced settings
OpenMirai also shows a save bar when you make changes that need to be saved.
Customize Brand Settings
In the Brand section, you can control how your platform looks in light and dark mode.
This section can include:
- a theme editing mode toggle for Light and Dark
- logo upload
- favicon upload
- preset color selection
- manual color pickers
Use the theme mode toggle when you want to edit the branding for one mode without changing the other.
Upload Your Logo And Favicon
Use the file picker controls to upload:
- a platform logo
- a favicon for browser tabs
This is useful when you want the platform to match your organization identity more closely.
Choose A Color Preset Or Set Custom Colors
The color area lets you either:
- choose a preset color palette
- or set your own colors manually
Available custom color fields include:
- primary
- primary foreground
- secondary
- secondary foreground
Use presets for a faster setup, or use manual color pickers when your brand has exact color requirements.
Manage Fonts For English And Thai
In the Fonts section, you can control which fonts are used for supported languages.
This section is designed to support both:
- English
- Thai
Use it when you want the platform to feel more consistent across different languages.
Add Or Change A Font
The font table lets you:
- add a new font row
- choose a language
- search available fonts
- select a font
- preview the font before saving
- remove a font row
Use font preview to compare options before deciding which one should represent your platform.
Manage Custom Pages
In the Page section, OpenMirai shows a list of your custom public pages.
This section includes:
- an Open web editor button
- a page table
- a search field
Use Open web editor when you want to create or edit public-facing website content.
Selecting Open web editor takes you into the full visual editing workspace described in the Web Editor guide.
Understand The Page Search Field
The page section includes a search box.
In this version of the flow, that search field is visible but may not narrow the page table yet.
Use it as a visual reference for future filtering, but do not rely on it as the main way to find a page.
Use The Page Table
The page table can show:
- page name
- page path
- last modified date
- status
Use the table when you want to review which custom pages already exist and whether they are live or still in draft.
Return To Page Management After Editing
After you finish working in the Web Editor, return to System > Platform Customization and open the Page section again.
This is the main place to confirm what changed after editing.
Use the page table to review:
- the page you just edited
- the current Last modified value
- whether the page is still Live or Draft
This is useful when you want to double-check that your latest saved work is reflected in the Admin page list.
Review Last Modified After Editing
The Last modified column helps you confirm whether a page has been updated recently.
After saving page changes in the Web Editor and returning to Platform Customization, this date can update to reflect the latest edit.
Use this column when:
- you want to confirm that a recent edit was saved
- several admins are working on pages and you need a quick update check
- you want to compare which page was changed most recently
Understand Page Status
Each page row includes a status badge so you can quickly see whether that page is currently visible to visitors.
Common status states include:
- Live
- Draft
Use this column when you want to confirm whether a page is already published before opening the row action menu.
Publish Unpublish Or Delete A Page
Each page row includes an action menu.
Available actions can include:
- Publish
- Unpublish
- Delete
Use these actions when you want to control whether a page is visible to visitors or remove a page completely.
After you return from the Web Editor, this is the fastest place to continue page-management work without reopening the builder.
For example, you can:
- review the updated page status
- publish a page that is ready to go live
- unpublish a page that should no longer be visible
- delete a page you no longer need
OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before deleting a page.
After publish or unpublish actions, the status badge in the table updates so you can immediately confirm the new state.
If No Custom Pages Appear Yet
If your organization has not created public custom pages yet, the page list can appear empty until new pages are added.
In that case, use Open web editor to start creating or organizing pages in the visual editor.
Improve Seo Settings
In the SEO section, you can improve how your platform appears in search results and shared links.
This section can include:
- keywords
- website description
- SEO image upload
Use this section when you want your website to be easier to discover and present more clearly in previews.
Add Seo Keywords
Use the keyword field and add button to build a list of search terms related to your platform.
After you add a keyword, it appears as a removable chip.
Use this when you want to describe your organization with several distinct search terms instead of only one phrase.
Update The Website Description
Use the website description field to write the summary text that appears in search results.
OpenMirai shows a character counter while you type so you can keep the description within the allowed length.
Upload An Seo Image
Use the SEO image upload when you want a clearer preview image for shared links or search-related displays.
This is especially useful when your default logo or branding image is not the best choice for previews.
Set Up A Custom Domain
In the Domain section, OpenMirai shows:
- your organization slug
- your organization subdomain
- custom domain controls
Use this section when you want visitors to reach your site through your own domain instead of only the default OpenMirai subdomain.
Add A Custom Domain
If no custom domain has been added yet, OpenMirai shows an empty state with setup steps and an example DNS record.
Use the Add button to open the add-domain dialog.
In that dialog, enter the domain name you want to connect.
The add action stays unavailable until the domain format is valid.
Review Dns Setup Instructions
After a domain is added, OpenMirai can show DNS setup details, such as:
- the record type
- the record name
- the record value
- a copy button for the DNS value
Use these details when updating DNS records with your domain provider.
Refresh Or Delete A Custom Domain
When a custom domain already exists, the domain card can include:
- a refresh button
- a delete button
Use Refresh when you want OpenMirai to check the domain status again.
Use Delete when you want to remove the current custom domain from the platform.
Understand Domain Status
The domain area can show status badges such as:
- active
- pending
- setup needed
If the setup is still pending, OpenMirai can also show troubleshooting tips and the DNS record table again to help you verify the configuration.
Understand Domain Plan Restrictions
On some plans, the custom-domain area can show an upgrade-required card instead of setup controls.
If your account is eligible, OpenMirai can also show an upgrade shortcut that opens billing in a new tab.
Adjust Advanced Settings
The Advanced settings section includes controls for access limits and media protection.
This section can include:
- max sessions per user
- PDF watermark
- video watermark
- video resolution settings
Use this section when you want tighter control over how learners access content and how platform media is delivered.
Manage Max Sessions Per User
Use the max-sessions setting when you want to limit how many active devices a user can use at the same time.
When the setting is turned off, OpenMirai hides the number field and treats the setting as unlimited.
When it is turned on, you can enter the session limit.
Use Pdf And Video Watermarks
OpenMirai includes separate switches for:
- PDF watermark
- video watermark
Use these options when you want downloadable files or uploaded videos to include a platform watermark automatically.
Choose Available Video Resolutions
The video resolution area is grouped into:
- SD
- HD
- 4K
Use these toggles to decide which viewing resolutions are available for future uploads.
Higher resolutions use more blocks, so this setting also affects storage and usage planning.
Understand Plan-Limited Resolution Options
Some higher resolutions can show a plan badge and may be unavailable on lower plans.
If a resolution is disabled, your current plan does not include it.
Use the visible enabled options for your current plan, or review billing if you need higher-resolution delivery.
Save Or Discard Changes
When you change any customization setting, OpenMirai shows a save bar.
Use it to:
- save your changes
- discard your pending edits
This is important because the page collects many different settings in one place.
If The Page Is Still Loading
While OpenMirai is loading existing customization data, sections of the page can show loading states.
Wait for the current values to appear before making major changes, especially in brand, font, and domain settings.
