Manage Announcements In The Admin Platform
Learn how to use the Admin Platform announcement list to search announcements, review announcement cards, open details, and create, edit, or delete announcements.
This guide explains how to use the Announcements page in the Admin Platform.
Use it when you want to:
- search announcement posts
- review announcement cards at a glance
- open an announcement detail page
- create a new announcement
- edit an announcement
- delete an announcement
Open The Announcement List
To open the main announcement page:
- Go to Management > Announcements.
This page gives admins a list view of announcement posts across the platform.
Understand The Announcement List Page
At the top of the page, OpenMirai shows:
- the Announcements title
- the number of matching results
- a search box
- a Create button
Below that, OpenMirai shows a list of announcement cards.
Use this page when you want to browse or manage announcements before opening a specific post.
Search Announcements
Use the search box to find an announcement by title or related wording.
This is useful when:
- you already know which announcement you want
- the list contains many posts
- you want to reopen a previous announcement quickly
Understand Announcement Cards
Each announcement card can show details such as:
- announcement title
- short preview text
- creator name
- creator role badge
- last updated date and time
- target information
Depending on the announcement, a card can also show:
- organization audience information
- the number of linked courses
Use the card layout when you want a quick overview before opening the full post.
Open An Announcement
Select an announcement card to open its detail page.
Use the detail page when you want to read the full announcement or manage it further.
Create A New Announcement
Use the Create button when you want to publish a new announcement.
OpenMirai takes you to the announcement creation flow, where you can define the target, write the content, and finish the post.
Use The Announcement Action Menu
Each announcement card includes an action menu.
Available actions are:
- Edit
- Delete
Use these actions when you want to manage one announcement directly from the list.
Edit An Announcement
Use Edit when you want to update an existing announcement.
This opens the announcement editing flow, where you can change the title, content, or targeting details.
Delete An Announcement
Use Delete only when the announcement should be permanently removed.
OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before deletion.
The dialog makes it clear that the announcement will be permanently deleted and cannot be undone.
Use Pagination
If your organization has many announcements, OpenMirai can split the list across multiple pages.
Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the list to move through older or newer announcement pages.
If No Announcements Are Found
If the page shows no results, one of these is usually true:
- no announcements have been created yet
- your search does not match any posts
Try clearing or changing the search text to broaden the results.
