Create, Edit, and Review Blogs in the Admin Platform
Learn how to create a blog in the Admin Platform, update the title banner and content, review blog details, and publish or unpublish a post from its detail page.
This guide explains how to create, edit, and review individual blog posts in the Admin Platform.
Use it when you want to:
- create a new blog post
- add a banner image, categories, and article content
- update an existing blog
- review a blog after it is saved
- publish or unpublish a blog from its detail page
- delete a blog permanently
Open The Blog Creation Page
To create a new blog:
- Go to Management > Blogs.
- Select Create.
OpenMirai then opens the blog editor.
Understand The Blog Editor
The blog editor includes:
- a back button
- a section list for easier navigation
- a save bar
- a Basic Information section
- a Content section
Use this page when you want to prepare the blog title, image, categories, and full article in one flow.
Use The Save Bar
The save bar appears when you make changes.
Use it to save the blog after reviewing the content.
After saving successfully, OpenMirai returns you to the main blog list.
Add The Blog Title
In the Basic Information section, enter the blog title in the Title field.
Use a clear title so readers can understand the topic quickly from the blog list and detail page.
Upload The Banner Photo
Use Banner Photo to upload the main image for the blog post.
This image appears as the main cover image for the post.
Use a strong visual when you want the post to stand out more clearly in the blog list and on the detail page.
Important detail:
- the banner photo is required when you create a new blog
Add Categories
Use the Categories field when you want to organize the blog by topic.
This helps when:
- you want to group similar posts together
- admins need easier filtering later
- readers should be able to understand the subject area at a glance
Categories are optional, so you can leave this field empty if the post does not need category labels.
Write The Blog Content
In the Content section, use the rich text editor to write the main body of the blog.
This is where you add the full article content that users will read after opening the post.
Use this area for:
- announcements in article form
- updates
- educational articles
- guides or longer content pieces
Save A New Blog
After you complete the blog details, use the save bar to create the post.
OpenMirai saves the blog and returns you to the main blog list.
Important detail:
- new blog posts are created as drafts
This means you can review the post before making it public.
Open An Existing Blog
To review one blog in full:
- Go to Management > Blogs.
- Select the blog you want to open.
OpenMirai then opens the blog detail page.
Understand The Blog Detail Page
The blog detail page shows:
- the blog title
- the current status badge
- category badges
- the blog action menu
- the banner image
- author information
- created and updated dates
- the full article content
Use this page when you want to review the final result of the post or manage its visibility.
Review The Blog Status
At the top of the page, OpenMirai shows whether the blog is currently a draft or published.
Use this badge to confirm whether the post is public yet.
Review Categories
If categories were added, OpenMirai shows them as badges near the top of the detail page.
Use these labels to confirm that the blog is filed under the right topics.
Review The Banner Image
If the blog has a banner image, OpenMirai shows it prominently on the detail page.
Use this preview to confirm that the visual is correct before or after publishing.
Review Author And Date Information
The detail page also shows author and date details for the blog.
This area includes:
- the author name
- the author profile image when available
- the blog creation date
- the last updated date
Use this information when you want to confirm who created the post and whether it has been updated recently.
Read The Full Blog Content
The main content area shows the complete blog article.
Use this page to review the published formatting and the full reader experience after the post has been saved.
Use The Blog Action Menu
The blog detail page includes an action menu.
Available actions can include:
- Publish this blog post
- Unpublish this blog post
- Edit
- Delete
Use this menu when you want to manage one blog from its dedicated page.
Publish A Blog
Use Publish this blog post when the draft is ready to be public.
OpenMirai changes the blog status from draft to published.
Use this when:
- the article is complete
- the banner image and categories are ready
- the content has been reviewed and approved
Unpublish A Blog
Use Unpublish this blog post when a published blog should no longer be public.
OpenMirai changes the blog back to draft status.
Use this when:
- the content needs revision
- the post should be hidden temporarily
- the information is no longer ready for public viewing
Edit An Existing Blog
Use Edit when you want to update the post.
OpenMirai opens the blog editing page, where you can update:
- the title
- the banner image
- categories
- the blog content
Understand The Blog Edit Page
The edit page uses the same basic structure as the creation page:
- Basic Information
- Content
- a save bar
Use this page when you want to revise the post without changing its location in the blog list.
Important detail:
- in the edit flow, the current blog details are loaded into the form so you can update only the parts that need to change
Replace The Banner Photo
On the edit page, use Banner Photo if you want to replace the existing cover image.
This is helpful when:
- the old image is no longer suitable
- the article needs a refreshed visual
- the post was first saved with the wrong image
Save Blog Changes
After updating the post, use the save bar to save your changes.
OpenMirai then returns you to the main blog list.
Delete A Blog From The Detail Page
Use Delete only when the blog should be removed permanently.
OpenMirai shows a confirmation dialog before deletion.
Important detail:
- deleting a blog is permanent and cannot be undone
If A Field Needs Attention
If required information is missing, OpenMirai highlights the affected field so you can fix it before saving.
Common examples include:
- missing title
- missing banner photo when creating a new blog
- missing blog content
