Manage Promotions In The Admin Platform

Learn how to use the Admin Platform promotion list to search promotions, switch between promotion types, filter by status, copy codes, use bulk actions, and open promotion details.

This guide explains how to use the Promotion page in the Admin Platform.

Use it when you want to:

  • search for an existing promotion
  • review promotion codes and discount details
  • switch between one-time and subscription promotions
  • filter promotions by status
  • copy a promotion code
  • open a promotion detail page
  • edit, activate, or deactivate a promotion
  • use bulk actions for selected promotions

Open The Promotion List

To open the main promotion page:

  1. Go to Marketing > Promotions.

This page gives admins a central list of promotion codes used across the platform.

Understand The Promotion List Page

At the top of the page, OpenMirai shows:

  • the Promotion title
  • the number of matching results
  • a selected mode toggle
  • a search box
  • a Create promotion button

Below that, OpenMirai shows:

  • promotion type tabs
  • a promotions table
  • pagination controls at the bottom

Use this page when you want to review, organize, or manage promotion codes before opening one in detail.

Search Promotions

Use the search box to find a promotion by name, code, or related wording.

This is useful when:

  • you already know the promotion name
  • you need to reopen a specific code quickly
  • your organization has many promotions

Switch Between Promotion Types

Above the table, OpenMirai shows tabs for:

  • All
  • One-time purchased
  • Subscription

Use these tabs when you want to narrow the list by promotion type.

For example:

  • use One-time purchased to focus on promotions tied to one-time items
  • use Subscription to focus on promotions tied to subscription plans

Filter Promotions By Status

Use the Valid filter in the table header to narrow the list by promotion status.

Depending on the promotion, you may see statuses such as:

  • Auto active
  • Manual active
  • Scheduled
  • Expired
  • Inactive

Use this filter when you want to review only currently active promotions, check what is scheduled next, or find promotions that are no longer in use.

Understand The Promotions Table

The table can show:

  • promotion name
  • code
  • discount amount or discount percentage
  • start date
  • usage count
  • validity status
  • actions

Use the table when you want a quick operational view of how each promotion is configured and whether it is still available.

Sort The Promotion Table

OpenMirai lets you sort several columns in the table.

Sortable columns include:

  • promotion name
  • code
  • discount
  • date
  • usage

Use sorting when you want to:

  • find the newest or oldest promotions
  • compare the biggest discounts
  • review the most-used promotions first

Copy A Promotion Code

Each row shows the promotion code and a copy button.

Use the copy button when you want to:

  • share a code with a teammate
  • paste the code into another workflow
  • avoid typing errors when reusing the code

Understand Usage Progress

The Usage column shows how many times the promotion has been redeemed compared with its maximum number of redemptions.

OpenMirai also shows a progress bar to help you read the remaining capacity more quickly.

If a promotion has no fixed redemption limit, the table can show an unlimited value instead of a maximum number.

Understand Promotion Status In The List

The Valid column shows a status badge for each promotion.

Inactive rows also appear dimmed in the table, which helps you distinguish them from active or scheduled promotions at a glance.

Open A Promotion

Select a row to open that promotion's detail page.

Use the detail page when you want to review the promotion more fully, check performance, or manage the items attached to it.

Use The Promotion Action Menu

Each row includes an action menu.

Available actions can include:

  • Edit
  • Activate
  • Deactivate

Use these actions when you want to manage one promotion directly from the list without opening the full detail page first.

Edit A Promotion

Use Edit when you want to change promotion details.

This opens the promotion editing flow, where you can update the setup before saving your changes.

Activate A Promotion

If a promotion is inactive, the action menu can show Activate.

Use this when you want to make the promotion available again.

Deactivate A Promotion

If a promotion is active or otherwise available, the action menu can show Deactivate.

OpenMirai asks for confirmation before deactivation.

Use this when:

  • the promotion should stop being used
  • the campaign has ended early
  • you want to prevent further redemptions without deleting the record

Use Selected Mode For Bulk Actions

Use the selected mode toggle when you want to work with more than one promotion at the same time.

After selected mode is on:

  1. Select the promotions you want to manage.
  2. Open the bulk action menu.
  3. Choose the action you want.

Bulk actions can include:

  • deactivating selected promotions
  • deleting selected promotions

OpenMirai asks for confirmation before either bulk action is applied.

Understand Disabled Selection

Some rows cannot be selected for bulk actions.

For example, inactive promotions can appear with a disabled checkbox in the list.

If a checkbox is disabled, manage that promotion from its own row actions or detail page instead.

Create A Promotion

Use the Create promotion button when you want to add a new promotion code.

OpenMirai takes you to the promotion creation flow, where you can set up the code, discount, timing, and related items.

If Promotions Are Restricted On Your Plan

On some plans, OpenMirai can show an upgrade prompt before you can use promotion features.

If that happens, follow the upgrade link shown on the page to review your billing and usage options.

Use Pagination

If your organization has many promotions, OpenMirai can split the results across multiple pages.

Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to move through older or newer results.

If No Promotions Are Found

If the page shows no results, one of these is usually true:

  • no promotions have been created yet
  • the selected tab is too narrow
  • the status filter excludes the promotions you need
  • the search text does not match any promotion

Try clearing the search, changing the selected tab, or removing the status filter.
